In 2006 we left our London base (originally at 25 Marylebone Road – hence the name) to move to the beautiful Victorian seaside town of Hoylake on the north western tip of the Wirral peninsular, situated between North Wales and Liverpool, and bounded by the Rivers Dee and Mersey, and Liverpool Bay. Many clients have visited since (ample free overnight accommodation is available), and have enjoyed the many delights the area has to offer: wonderful beach walks, watching the seals basking on nearby Hilbre Island, spectacular sunsets, peaceful parks and woodlands, great food and shopping. There is also easy access to Liverpool, re-vitalised by the 2008 Capital of Culture events which have brought record numbers of tourists along with record business investment. Only 25 minutes away by train (and then just over two hours from London Euston), Liverpool is a truly world class city, boasting one of the most iconic waterfronts in the world, and more Grade I listed buildings than anywhere else in the UK outside London. This is what one client emailed us after a very productive meeting: “Am home safely, having walked first to the beach near you then from Red Rocks to West Kirby – idyllic and a real treat in a busy life!”
... all only minutes away ... and that's just for starters! Whether you consider yourself a townie or a countryside lover, there's something for everyone. Come and see for yourself: just don't tell too many Southerners about it. |
